Knitted Kevin the carrot visits Netherton Church of England School
On Tuesday the 11th December 2018 the Black Country Mission went along to Netherton Church of England School to talk part in an assembly for the children which consisted of carols and a Christmas themed quiz.
The main theme of the assembly was "gifts".
The quiz consisted of six questions for the children to answer. For example "What does God give at Christmas? Answer: The baby Jesus.
As prizes for the children who answered the questions correctly we gave away "Kevin" the knitted carrot.
We also gave out printed sheets with "Silent Night" in German for the children to take home.

The Black Country Mission has taken many assemblies at the School and on each occasion has received a warm welcome by both teachers and pupils.
May we take this opportunity to wish all the children, teachers and staff a healthy and happy New Year.
