Remembering the true meaning of Christmas

Picture
At this time of year everyone is busy, rushing here and there.  There are presents to buy and wrap.

There is the Christmas tree which needs to be brought down from the loft and assembled and decorated with pretty baubles and shiny tinsel.

There is all the lovely Christmas food which needs to be bought.

Everyone is busy…

I wonder if anyone stops for just a moment to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.  Some may not even know what Christmas is really about, to them it just presents and parties and, for children it is receiving presents from Santa Claus and all the excitement that goes with it, and nothing more.

Does anyone stop to think and remember a baby born in a manger?  A little baby who was saviour of the world?
When all the presents are under the tree and we sit down Christmas Eve let us think of our Lord Jesus Christ who came into this world for us.

Christmas Blessings to you all and may God bless you.
